Dr Shirley Mak has been a doctor since 1996 and a GP since 2005. She has prior training in Surgery, Urology, and Gynaecology. She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and a holder of the MRCS( member of Royal College of Surgeons ) and DRCOG( Diploma of Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologist ).
She has worked at The Portland Road Practice since 2012 and a partner since 2020. She has a key role in practice management. She has achieved qualification as a GP supervisor for GP trainees. In additional to training junior doctors, she is also actively involved in training of clinical pharmacists and physician assistants. She is also the lead clinician in Diabetes management.
She has a strong commitment in the delivery of preventative medicine, and is equally passionate about helping patients live well with chronic medication conditions. She is dedicated to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for high quality compassionate care.
She works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
